The first task in PRODUCT MANAGEMENT is to add and set up a new product that will appear in your SHOPPING CART SYSTEM – Note : - Each product can be edited \ corrected at any time in PRODUCTS LIST \ ACTIONS \ EDIT
Edit Product
1) BASIC INFO - Add a product ID number set correctly to appear in the right place in the ID list, and then fill in the rest of the product info fields
2) MEDIA - Use this to add \ upload the product image, image must be a 16:9 ratio and can be any resolution
Many of the “Product Management” features and settings are self explanatory, but we will now explain some of the more intricate features that need explanation
Product ID to arrange products in list
Within Product Management, we use our “Product ID Gap System”. Within the list, categories are separated with numbered gaps in between allowing leeway for the addition in the future of other new products within that category – See screenshot below :- notice the 2 grouped categories KEYRINGS and DRINKWARE with ID and gap numbers
